(January 5-Youngstown, OH) Cardinal Mooney High School’s Annual Fund has reached $100,000. With the Fund scheduled to wrap up in June 2018, an initial goal of $120,000 was set for the year.  The school is on pace to far exceed this goal with the latest total.

This year to commemorate the Fund’s nearly 30 years, a new campaign structure was introduced with a special committee established to oversee the administration of this year’s Annual Fund. The committee is comprised of a Chairman and 3 Vice Chairs. Each Chair helms a team of volunteers who host various fundraising events throughout the year. Additionally, Mooney Alumni have banded together in various Phone-a-thon events calling former classmates to inform them of developments at the school and secure pledges. Proceeds from the Annual Fund go toward scholarships and operations at the school.
