It’s important for parents to stay engaged. Now there’s an app for that.

YOUNGSTOWN — Cardinal Mooney High School has developed and launched a special mobile application for use by parents of its students. The free app works on both Apple and Android smart phones.

Key features of the CMHS Parents app are a calendar, staff directory, Mooney News and exclusive Parent News that keeps parents up on school events and requirements.

One special section is the “After Mooney” page — which connects parents with the guidance counselor so they can get current info on their child’s academic status, suggestions for college and other after-graduations options, as well as details about ACT testing, scholarships and more.

“The CMHS Parent app is part of our ongoing commitment to providing both student and parents the best learning experience possible,” says Fr. Gerald DeLucia, President of Cardinal Mooney. “This app is a tool that makes it easier for parents to stay engaged and involved in their child’s education and future.”

The app can be downloaded free by searching for “CMHS Parents” in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
