Welcome to the start of an exciting new school year at Cardinal Mooney! As we embark on this journey together, we are thrilled to kick off the year with three special events designed to welcome and unite our community. Our New Parent Orientation will cover all need-to-know information, while the New Student Orientation will help our newest members feel at home in their new environment. Finally, we’ll celebrate the start of the year with a Back to School Bash — a festive gathering for students, families, and faculty! We look forward to seeing you all at these events!

Wednesday, Aug. 14 — New Parent Orientation
6-7:30 p.m. Auditorium
On Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 6-7:30 p.m., in our Auditorium, we will be hosting a New Parent Welcome Meeting for all parents/guardians of freshman and transfer students. During the meeting, the Administration and Admissions department will present an overview of all of the essential need-to-know information for the upcoming school year. New parents will also have the opportunity to see our new multi-sport field, and shop in the Cardinal’s Nest spirit store for uniforms and back to school gear.

Wednesday, Aug. 21 — New Student Orientation
8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. CMHS
Our New Student Orientation is Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for freshmen. Transfer students will be dismissed at 12:30. Students are asked to arrive before 8:25 a.m. If students arrive early, they are welcome to congregate in the cafeteria. Our Link Crew leaders will welcome our freshmen/new students during the orientation with small group activities, a campus tour, and a homeroom overview. Students will also receive their Chromebooks during orientation. Lunch will be provided for all students free of charge. Students are to wear their school uniforms. Please see our dress code.
