Cardinal Mooney is a private Catholic high school accredited by the Ohio State Department of Education and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. Cardinal Mooney is a four year coeducational high school with grades 9 through 12. Cardinal Mooney has maintained a tradition of academic, extra-curricular and spiritual excellence since its inception in 1956.

Youngstown, Ohio is in the northeast section of the state and has a population of approximately 65,000. It is a city of diversified businesses, manufacturing, and professionals. Cardinal Mooney is located on the south side of Youngstown and with students hailing from the surrounding areas of Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, and Portage counties. In total, our students come to us from 25 zip codes and 39 elementary schools.
