Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio, is seeking a President. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12 and is in the middle of a multi-million dollar building renovation. The school is poised to begin the next chapter of its illustrious history and seeks an inspirational president with vision and skills in leadership, communication and collaborative decision-making to advance the mission of the school. The school is approximately 500 students and growing.
The president works with the Board of Directors, administration, faculty and staff, parents and alumni in promoting the system’s Catholic identity. The president assumes responsibility for the school’s external and internal operations, including sound financial management. The president will represent the school in the community and lead its institutional advancement activities. The president, along with the Board, is responsible for the future and long-range outlook and development of the school. The president is accountable to the Bishop of the Youngstown Diocese and the Superintendent of Schools.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications
- Practicing Roman Catholic
- Advanced degree in education or business
- Demonstrated successful experience in budgeting, fund-raising and development
- Experience in Catholic education
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated public relations skills
