YOUNGSTOWN — Cardinal Mooney High Sc’hool is excited to announce the Cardinal K-6 Sports Clinic, a dynamic and engaging event for young athletes in kindergarten through 6th grade. The clinic will take place
on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in partnership with Athletix in Columbiana. Designed to promote fitness, teamwork, and the joy of sports, the clinic will feature a variety of skill-building stations including
fitness fun, basketball, volleyball, relay races, dodgeball, soccer, and state-of-the-art simulators.
Registration for the event will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., with activities running from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will be grouped by age to ensure an optimal experience for skill development and fun. The clinic aims to introduce young athletes to a range of sports in a supportive and energetic environment, guided by experienced trainers from Athletix.
“Our goal is to inspire a love for sports and an active lifestyle in young athletes,” said Kim Simons Cox, Cardinal Mooney enrichment coordinator. “By partnering with Athletix, we’re excited to offer a comprehensive experience that combines fitness, skill development, and the spirit of teamwork.”
