YOUNGSTOWN — Cardinal Mooney’s cross country team is thrilled to announce its inaugural Color Run, set to take place on June 8, 2024.
This fun, family-oriented walk/run will commence at Casesse’s MVR at 10 a.m. and progress through Youngstown State University. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to join in this joyous occasion, where they can walk, run, or jog their way through the scenic course.
The Color Run is not only a testament to the team’s dedication to health and wellness but also serves as a powerful platform for giving back.
“We are thrilled to host our first-ever Charity Color Run,” said Kerri Savaet, Cardinal Mooney cross country coach. “This event embodies the values of our school community – Sanctity, Scholarship, and Discipline. We’re excited to see the community come together for this event.”
In addition to the exhilarating run, participants can look forward to a post-race celebration at Casesse’s MVR filled with games, food, and camaraderie. Local sponsors have generously contributed to ensure a memorable experience for all involved.
