The 2016 Ohio High School Speech League State Finals were held from March 3-6 at Cincinnati Princeton High School. At this 88th annual tournament 84 schools attended. Cardinal Mooney placed 10th among all divisions and achieved the following honors:
STATE CHAMPIONS– Frank Vennetti and Adriana Vennetti in Duo Interpretation
STATE RUNNER-UP (2nd) Gino Ginnetti in Drama
SEMI-FINALIST: Jailon Perry (12th Place)
Quarter Finalists: Srs. Joe Humenick, Kara Okular, Haley Mitchel
