The world has changed in the last few weeks, and Cardinal Mooney will adapt. One of our most popular events of the year is the Celebrate Mooney Auction. This will remain scheduled for April 25, but will be re-imagined as an exclusively online event.

This will ensure that we remain cautious of health concerns, and comply with government directives.

Doing this also makes sure our tradition is preserved, so we can continue our mission.

Options for an in-person event in the future are still being examined. Meanwhile, we will think and pray together (even at a safe distance) and determine the details the way we always have — as a family.

Every trophy that lines our halls, and tale that weaves our story has come with challenges

From grinding double-sessions that built football glory, to studying into the night in search of academic excellence, Cardinal Mooney has forged its legacy through adversity.

This year, standing amidst a world-wide pandemic, stands one of our proudest traditions: The Celebrate Mooney Auction. While in the interest of health and in compliance with state directives, we cannot have a live event this year, we have moved it online.

For decades, our school has stood as a beacon of strength — a red and gold light stretching into the community. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that our mission thrives.

You remember singing the alma mater together. You remember celebrating our victories. You remember being strong for each other when our efforts fell short. You remember the Mooney Family. You can secure what you remember — and ensure future generations build on that.

This auction is traditionally our largest fundraising event of the year: and we need your support more than ever!

Due to concerns over COVID-19, our Celebrate Mooney Auction that was scheduled to be held on Satuday, April 25th will no longer be an in-person auction but will now be a virtual one.

  • Online bidding will begin on Thursday, April 23nd at 6:00 pm and will close Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 pm.
  • A virtual live auction will take place at 8:00 pm that evening.
  • Drawings for the bourbon, the purse and 50/50 will be after the live auction.
